WHAT IS A MARKET MEMBERSHIP?
Since the beginning of our CSA, I’ve been dreaming of a more flexible option for folks for whom the standard CSA program doesn’t quite fit. The overarching comments I heard were: 1) the need for flexibility within their work and travel schedule, and 2) the desire for choice in an effort to reduce food waste at home.
Our solution: Market Memberships.
What I love about this concept is that Market Memberships offer the same connection to the farm and seasonal abundance - with the freedom to shop at your own pace. Market members invest in the farm just like CSA Members and enjoy all the same perks—discounted pricing at market, access to farm events, exclusive merch, and weekly recipes. There is still shared risk, give-and-take, and relationship behind it all. We are so proud to offer this new arm of support for our farm and local community!
HOW IT WORKS
Market memberships are a prepaid credit to shop at our booth at the King Farmers Market based on your household’s needs. It is designed with flexibility and choice in mind. Market Members choose their own produce and shop only on the weeks they’re in town. Experiment with new vegetables or stick with the staples - the choice is yours!
With a minimum credit of equivalent to our small CSA share ($480), members can come shop at our booth at the King Market any or every Sunday from May-November. We’ll keep track of your balance, so all you need to do is show up and shop. Market members will receive 10% off any purchase at our booth throughout the farm season. Extra funds can be added at any time, with up to $50 eligible to roll into the following season.
When you become a market member, you are agreeing to these terms:
Fresh, seasonal vegetables! The King Farmers market runs from May 3 through November 22, and we aim to attend every single one, with one week off around mid/late-August (for us to focus on fall/winter plantings and maybe take a mini-vacation :)
*Disclaimer: Depending on spring weather conditions, our market season may shift backward 1-2 weeks.
While not mandatory, we highly recommend picking up during the first two hours of market (10am-noon) when there’s a higher guarantee of variety at the market booth.
Pricing and PaymentsFull payment ensures a market membership for the season. Additional funds can be added at any time at our booth, with up to $50 rolling into the following season.

Communication
Most communication occurs through email. By signing up for the market membership, you’ll be added to our email list. It’s highly recommended that you add moramorafarm@gmail.com to your email contacts, so that newsletters and updates will not get lost in your spam folder or promotions tab. With this being our first year launching our market memberships, we expect there will be some kinks to iron out. We will keep you up to date with any changes via email.
If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your membership, you can request a refund. A refund will be made on a pro-rated basis.
